6 cups flour 1 cup sugar 2 Teaspoons baking powder 1 cup orange juice 2 eggs 2 cups Crisco/Vegetable shortening

Then elevate with fresh ingredients like honey, walnuts, jam, and lemon juice.
Roll dough 1/8 to 1/4" thick
Cut into 4" circles, then dot each circle with a scant teaspoon of filling.
Fold in two sides to create one point of your triangle shape. Then fold opposite side to create two other points simultaneously. Brush top edges of hamentashen with egg wash.
