Happy Thanksgiving (a week early!) This week’s episode features Laura Clark, who spent two years in Italy. While there for the holidays, Laura made yeasted potato rolls from an old family recipe she enjoyed with her cousins at childhoold Thanksgivings. While there was pressure making the rolls for an Italian from Naples, home to the best bread in the world, Laura's rolls received rave reviews! Today, she's sharing the recipe for these rolls with us, as well as a classic cranberry tea she also enjoyed at her childhood Thanksgiving table. I especially appreciate that Laura was willing to be vulnerable in this episode about the fact that her time in Italy was both the best and the worst two years of her life, and about the creative awakening it stirred in her.
